About Us
Every election cycle the Cape and Islands host competitive races up and down the ballot from the Presidency to the County Assembly of Delegates. The Cape and Islands Democratic Council promotes Democratic values by supporting strong, passionate, and diverse candidates leading up to and on election day—and even more importantly the Council strives to maintain the same energy the day after election-day.
Through our efforts, we’re able to sustain community engagement in off-years, bring attention to local and municipal races, and guarantee that there is always regional coordination on critical issues.
